Maths Wraps aid children with sums

Maths Wraps look set to help children with their maths skills following some successful school trials.

In a trial using the toy,  a year three class worked together in pairs with Maths Wraps 3- 5 times a week during maths lessons for a four week period.

Another year three class did not use the wraps, acting as a control group. Both classes took two multiplication tests, one before the trial and one afterwards. The improvement in the results by the class using the Maths Wraps was 27 per cent, more than double that of the control group at an improvement of just 7 per cent.

Managing Director of ZooBooKoo, Stephen Wattleworth said: “We were sure Maths Wrap was effective, but we wanted concrete evidence from an independent trial proving the value of Maths Wrap and we found that Maths Wrap more than doubles the speed of progress when learning times tables.”
