Milk float cinema hits Bristol parks this week
Families are being invited to come along to a series of solar-powered film screenings taking place in Bristol parks this month.
Working in partnership with Encounters, the city’s annual short film festival, Bristol City Council’s Neighbourhood Arts Team will be bringing back the electric milk float.
Powered by the sun, the cinema will be screening a selection of short films and families are invited to come along with blankets and a picnic.
The four free events will be taking place at:
Thursday, September 9, 8pm
St Georges Park, Church Road
Friday, September 10, 8pm
St Andrews Park, Effingham Road
Friday, September 17, 8pm
Urban Park at Barton Hill, Beam Street
Saturday, September 18, 8pm
Victoria Park, St Luke’s Road
An alternative venue will be found should it rain on the day.
