North Bristol school crisis looming for 2010

The Bristol school crisis is looking to strike in September 2010 as a new school facility will not be opening.

Bristol City Council promised new reception facilities for parents in North Bristol to ease the tense situation in the Bishopston area, where parents struggled to get children into schools.

It was anticipated that Bishop Road Primary School would be extended to cope with numbers but this will not go ahead.

Parents have until Friday 23 October 2009 to submit their application on time.

The Council have set up a dedicated email address to respond to any questions about applications to this school: newbishopstonprimary@bristol.gov.uk

Parents who have already applied for this school will be contacted by the school admissions team.
