Review: NaturVits for adults and Omega-3 with Vitamin D3 for kids

The benefits of Omega-3 supplements for adults and children, has crept into common knowledge in recent years.

Now a new line of Omega-3 supplements is available in the UK for the first time, produced by Norwegian manufacturer Ayanda.

NaturVits, are sugar free Omega-3 supplements with additional Vitamin D3.

The children’s version is suitable for those over three years of age and comes as a lemon and orange chewy fruit drop.

The adult version is also lemon and orange and comes in the form of a gel tablet.

Omega-3, is found in oily fish such as salmon, mackerel or sardines. It has been found to be beneficial for the heart, brains and joins as well as essential fatty acids.

With many families shunning fish, daily dietary supplements has risen in popularity.

Chloe Saunders and her five-year-old daughter Madison, incorporated the NaturVits Omega-3 with Vitamin D3 adults and children’s version.

Chloe Says: “I don’t eat fish, especially not oily fish because I don’t like it. I don’t like the flavour or the texture. Because of this, Maddy doesn’t eat fish much. I feel guilty about this because fish is highly recommended for our brain development.

“I see supplements as a compromise though. Maddy was completely fine with hers. I wasn’t so keen on the gel tablet form or the flavour. What I ended up doing was having it in the morning with orange juice.

“Whether it has any affect on me is hard to say. I did notice I felt less tired and had more energy while I was taking them. That has to be a positive.”
