Scooby-Doo! Adventures The Mystery Map DVD Reviewed

scooby

Zoinks! Scooby-Doo and his gang have been given a Jim Henson style make over, for this gentle version of the crime fighting mystery series.

There’s the obligatory scary creatures such as Phantom Parrot and Oscar the Grouch styled pirate Gnarlybeard.

Somehow, the puppets work well and the format is much better for younger children than the brash original TV series with its tedious canned laughter.

The stereotypical characters of Freddie, Velma and Daphne are no less tiresome for parents, but the DVD is excellent for early evening before bedtime while you Mumsnet.
