Sheree Murphy Announces the ‘Charmin Family of the Year 2008’

 

This week, the ‘Charmin Family of the Year 2008’ title was awarded to a busy and adventurous Bournemouth family.

 

Following a campaign encouraging families to spend more quality time with each other, the Walsh family won the coveted title and was awarded a week’s adventure camping holiday in the Ardeche in France.

 

The Walsh’s entry from mum, Tiggy, caught the judges’ eyes right from the opening line: ‘We’re a family who live life to the full and make the most of every day.  Aside from work, school and chores, we find fun in every way’

 

Celebrity judge and mum to three Sheree Murphy picked out the winning family.

 

Sheree Murphy said: “I loved the way that the Walsh family wrote their story – a lot of thought has clearly gone into it which was fantastic to see. They sound like such a fun, adventurous family that make the most of every day together which left me feeling really inspired

 

Tiggy Walsh, who entered her own family said: “I can’t believe we have won such a fantastic prize – it is just what the family needs. We are so grateful to Charmin and Sheree for giving us this amazing holiday.”

 

For every one of the entries received in the Charmin Family of the Year 2008 competition,  Charmin is donating £1 to children’s charity Barnardo’s to help fund their work with children and their families across the UK.
