Spooky half term fun at Hengrove Park
Children and their families are being invited to join in with a week of spooky half term Halloween fun at Bristol’s Hengrove Play Park.
Running from Monday October 26 until Saturday October 31, there will be plenty going on in the award winning free park to entertain children from puppet shows, arts and crafts and face painting.
The week’s events will be:
Monday 26: Spooky Halloween Quiz with prizes. From 11am.
Tuesday 27: Spooky Quiz; prizes; ‘parachute games’. From 11am.
Wednesday 28: Halloween Puppet shows: 12.30 and 2pm.
Thursday 29: arts & crafts; Spooky Quiz; face painting. From 11am.
Friday 30: pumpkin carving (first come first served basis); face painting. From 11am.
Saturday 31: pumpkin making (first come first serve basis); mask making. From 11am.
Play park supervisor, Robert Hosken, said: “This is the second year we’ve run a Halloween event in the park. It’s a brilliant way to get together, get dressed up, have a bit of spooky fun with the family – all in the surroundings of the park with its award-winning play facilities.”
