Squiffy Teddy Does … Royal Mail
After a year of hell in 2010 suffering at the hands of Royal Mail, Chopsy Baby was more optimistic that 2011 could only get better. That post wouldn’t go missing, that it would be delivered when expected, without being opened and redelivered when requested.
This is the Squiffy Teddy Royal Mail diary for 2011
28/03/2011
On the 24 and 25 of March, two packets were missed and red cards left.
A redelivery was arranged at the local Post Office for Monday 28 March. This was to cost £1.50 per packet. The reason the redelivery was arranged for the Post Office is due to the number of times people waited in – until 6pm in the evening – for Royal Mail to redeliver to the address and have failed to turn up. At least collecting from the Post Office means not having to wait until the evening for something to turn up that might not arrive.
At 3.20 pm on the afternoon of the 28 March, a member of staff went to the Post Office complete with red cards to pick up and pay for the post.
It wasn’t there. It hadn’t been redelivered as was arranged. The person serving behind the counter advised us to pop back tomorrow.
Royal Mail Failed

Today the redelivery was at the Post Office.
24 hours late and costing £3.00
Poor service
