This brilliant book by Elys Dolan, is a proper laugh out loud story for adults and it’s so rare one of these comes along.

It flits between action movie parody and children’s book and offers plenty of characterisation for parents who love to get into story delivery.

Steven Seagull is a retired cop seagull. He’s forced to return to the job one last time to take down a criminal mastermind threatening the safety and sanctity of Beach City in this action mystery.

Nobody messes with Seagull and by the end of the story, the embittered feathered cop is back on the force.

Bravo!
