Successful Playful Cafe Makes Major Move to Bishopston

It was once a gem behind the bustling streets of Clifton Down Shopping Centre, but owing to its success, the Playful Café has moved to a large, family friendly building in busy Bishopston.

With a fashionably understated opening day, the new Playful Café premises gradually filled up post-school run, giving co-owner Kate Ferrentio the chance to warmly welcome both familiar and new customers.

The café, now relocated to Fenton Road, a stone’s throw from Gloucester Road, is bright, airy and extremely spacious.

The space is cleverly broken up into small sections, allowing parents and carers a chance to sit comfortably next to their playing child. Or for those who prefer to sit down a little more formally before play commences, there are plenty of chairs and tables.

Essentially for parents, there is a huge pram park in the lobby. Not only does this mean no more squeezing between size zero gaps to get through tables, there is plenty of space to wrestle children back into buggies before heading back out into inclement weather.

The Playful Café is the perfect place to relax with young children. Comfortable and completely without pretension, this parenting hub gets it totally right.
