There’s something for everyone at Butlins
Butlins is the home of live entertainment and the line up for this summer just keeps getting bigger and better with finalists and favourites of the UK’s popular talent show, Britain’s Got Talent, live on stage. The performers include winners Diversity, energetic and hilarious father and son act Stavros Flatley as well as Shaun Smith, Shaheen Jafargholi, Aidan Davies, Faces of Disco, Gareth Oliver, DJ Talent and last year’s winner George Sampson.
There’s something for everyone. Mums and daughters can get a Hollywood Look without spending any money with the help of Holly and Shirley Yanez of MTV and The Trisha Goddard Show fame who are bringing their live show, The Hollywood Look for Less, to the Resorts this year. And the boys, including the big ones, can race each other on the Go-Carts or try the Master Blaster in Splash Waterworld.
For hard to please teenagers there’s Urban Academy, where they can be taught smart moves in break dancing, street dancing or beat boxing by the experts or Cheerleading, the latest keep-fit craze from the Big Apple. Younger kids will just love Cartoon Network’s Wheely Big Super Toontastic Game Show with all their favourite characters live on stage. Toddlers’ favourites Bob the Builder, Angelina Ballerina, and Fireman Sam all appear in their own interactive shows as well as hoping for a cuddle from fans! Toddlers discover the magic of dance, music and drama by going on LittleMagicTrain adventures with sound, music, illustrations and educational stories – Mum and Dad can come along too.
The whole family can take part in Character Olympics joining Dina & Darwin in the Egg and Spoon race and Spuds sack race. The evening is full of family entertainment including Altogether Now, with singalongs to your favourite tunes, V for Variety, the very best of British entertainment and Sounds of the Underground, a show packed with break and street dance with a soundtrack to life on the Street.
