Women are handbag hoarders
Women may have as many as 63 different objects cluttering their handbags according to Kleenex.
Other than the usual items such as purses and keys, research revealed that women were also cluttering their bags with the weird and wonderful including screwdrivers and car CD players.
Despite the potential in these two items, 92 per cent of the objects women hoarded in their handbags were not seen as being useful.
Usual suspects in bags included purse, keys, phone, pack of tissues, pen and notebook – all of which featured higher than make-up.
We had a quick empty of some of our bags to see what we were hoarding.
