Chopsy Baby editor Jen Smith, tested out the Simple Repair Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream, Simple Repair Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream and Simple Repair Anti Wrinkle Eye Cream.
Jen says: “Since having a child of my own, I have found the ageing process has stepped up pace. This is likely to be down to stress, months of late colicky nights and being out in exposed parks on hot or rainy days. I don’t currently have a skin care regime, so adopted the three Simple products to create one.”
Simple Repair Anti-Wrinkle Day and Simple Repair Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream
Contains: Iris Extract, Mushroom Extract, Seaweed Extract, Black Oat, Lecithin , Glycerin, Pro Vitamin B5 and Vitamin E all designed to rehydrate and repair skin.
“To begin with, both the day and night cream left my face feeling smooth and fresh. After a week I noticed a small patch of sore skin developing so I discontinued use for a few days whilst it calmed down. Returning to the regime a few days later, the soreness did flare up again. Due to the one small area, I could not put this down as a reaction to the cream, though I did feel that perhaps using both creams was not quite right for my type of skin.

“I found I got the best out of the Simple skincare products by using just the Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream and the Anti Wrinkle Eye Cream, giving my face a break during the day. This meant that I wasn’t sweating off the cream whilst sleeping and allowing it to do its work.
