Parcels of Comfort Exhibition at Bristol Cathedral

A new exhibition will be taking place at Bristol Cathedral, explores the importance letters and parcels played to troops during the First World War.

Parcels of Comfort, has been put together by local textile artists and GCSE students from Cotham High School.

The reproductions will tell the story of the importance letters, knitting and home comforts made to soldiers on the front line.

It’s running from 09 September 2016 – 08 January 2017.

A special morning of free drop-in activities exploring the themes will be running on Wednesday 26 October from 10am-12pm.
