Pero’s Bridge Tethered to Narrow Quay for Safety
Beleaguered Pero’s Bridge remains out of action, now having to be strapped down for safety.
The horn-shaped counterweights have been tethered to the side of the Harbourside on Narrow Quay.

when operational, the large sculptures counterbalance the lifting mechanism – which recently failed during a maintenance test.
The horns were designed by sculptor Ellis O’Connell.
The bridge is due to be disassembled and repaired in the coming months.
