For mums who are worrying about the incoming tide of more ‘stuff’ about to invade the house, Gelli Baff not only provides simply the best bath time fun, but when its finished it’s gone, leaving no more clutter in the house.
The genius of Gelli Baff is that it turns water into jelly. You fill a bath or a paddling pool with around 40 litres of water and add a coloured powder. This reacts with the water to produce an amazing touch addictive jelly like substance. When play is finished, you add a different powder which turns the Gelli back into water – we found this around 90 per cent effective.
This product really works. It is great fun and children of all ages will love it. Constant adult supervision is required because the bottom of the bath can get a little slippery. Don’t worry about it dying the bath, children or towels because it doesn’t and cleaning up afterwards was easy.
No children suffered any kind of allergic or skin reaction during or after use, even those with some mild eczema.
Our additional advice to get the most out of the product:
Fill the bath with very hot water and allow to cool to temperature. Children will want to spend lots of time in the bath, so running to a low temperature will make the substance colder faster.
40 litres is not as much as it sounds. To get the mix right you MUST use either a measuring jug or litre bottle.
Remove anything like important bath mats and flannels and cover the bathroom floor with old towels. Things can get a little messy and the substance can make the floor very slippery.
Clean the bathroom as soon as children are dry and clothed.
Add some wooden spoons and tubs for the children to play with.
