Review: Zubbles Magic bubbles available at Firebox.com

Created and manufactured by C2C in the US, Zubbles are non-stain, non-toxic coloured bubbles with a dye that disappears when exposed to air, pressure or water.

Amy Jones tested out the Zubbles in blue and pink, at her daughter Lily’s fifth birthday party.

Amy says: “When I first saw the Zubbles mixture, I was a bit worried. It is a strong colour both the blue and pink when they are in the pot. When you blow them, they are more lighter in shade, but they look like when they pop they are going to leave a big mess.

“I was amazed when they didn’t. Even when they popped on some of the children’s white clothing, the dye seemed to disappear. Some of the blue Zubbles was accidentally spilt on a light grey carpet. It looked like a massacre had occurred, but they wiped up by rubbing over the area with you hand. For speed, I used a damp cloth and the carpet is as good as new.

“A great mess-free messy toy that really appealed to the girls and put an interesting spin on the old favourite.”
