St Paul’s Adventure Playground Crowdfunder Launched After Arson Attack
A crowdfunder has been launched to help financially support St Paul’s Adventure Playground after it became a victim to an arson attack yesterday.
Firefighters from Bedminster and Southmead managed to save half of the playground after the fire took hold in the playground’s main outdoor frame at just gone 5pm on Saturday.

Red Watch attended a fire in a playground in st Paul’s earlier. Some great work with @AFRSBedminster and @AFRSSouthmead to extinguish the fire and ensure surrounding buildings were safe! Please stay safe and stay home #StayHomeSaveLifes pic.twitter.com/MoXQZblBtP

The Crowdfunder was created by Stan Jones, with the cause receiving nearly £5000 in less than 24 hours.
Stan says: ‘The money will go towards keeping this community playground open and functioning which will benefit endless children in their growth and overall mental health as I’m sure countless adults will confirm.
‘Please give whatever you can to help rebuild the structure that has been burned down as it ill not be able to be rebuilt without help from the good people of bristol. This has been home to many of the less fortunate children and losing it will be incredibly hard prospect for them. ‘
