The Five O’Clock Apron by Claire Thomson – Review

5ca

The Five O’Clock Apron, is a cookery book aiming to help modern families make ‘proper food’.

The book’s creator is Claire Thomson, a chef with her own restaurant in Bristol.

The book is beautifully presented and a visually eye catching addition to kitchens.

But they feature the kind of recipes that just don’t work in tiny shoebox flat kitchens. The kind where there is no working surface and the sink is merged with the cooker.

If you live in a typical three bed semi with more than one foot of kitchen space, these recipes are perfect for creating healthy, quality food.

Easy Peasy Rose Ice Cream and Tomato Ketchup are our two favourites from the book.
